I didn't even read the article about time travel, but I can explain that if you really think you can skip through the forth dimension and create chaos with the intergaltic planetary events then you have over came the time travel exponetial equation. Due to the fact that it is thearitically impossible to create a machine that can change the time, time travel can simply be left to the sci-fi milionaires and the computer geeks in room in 309.
word to your mother!

I think that traveling through space at speed of light is awesome but it'll never happen. Unless I have proof and there is actually a person who did this already, i think this is just fake. I have a tip for all of you out there who want to be younger. Get your but out of that chair and start doing jumping jack. A million years from now, i know that man won't even be able to go pass our solar system. So if you're thinking traveling through time soon, how about not because its impossible! Hey anynymous henious up there, yea I'm talking about you, I'm the geek here in room 309 so yea better watch what you saying.

Man Fons, I think you're right. You can only travel forward in time. If you could travel back in time, someone would have come back already, right? And if someone did travel back in time, there would be a constant change in the time between now and the time that they were from. By the way, I would like to hear your opinion on aliens too.

Simple idea: there are billions of galaxies, we can see them. In each of those galaxies there are billions of solar systems, we can't yet see them but know they are there. If there are not billions of different types of life out there, do you think we are the only rock this close to a star that would create some form of life,? I will eat my house, piece by piece, brick by brick. Have these "aliens" visted earth and stuck probes into people? I doubt it.

On the issue of time travel: it is theoretically possible because we now have an understanding of the space/time continueum. The machine that is envisioned would not actually change time but would allow someone to experience time differently. In a million years, hell in a thousand years, this place will be so different that it would be almost unrecognizable to us. Maybe I will check this out in my new time machine hmmm......

I agree jumping jacks are a better time traveler for now.

I have a question. Will you be younger if you go back into the future or will you be aging? About the time travel thingy, wouldn't it be awesome if we can travel into the future and find out whats going to happen to the earth then come back to the present and fix it?

You age at a differnt rate depending upon your speed. Run the "Captain Ein and Stein" graphic to see how this works. The theory posits that time is relative. Thus if a person or thing is traveling at say half the speed of light, which is now not technologically possible, that person/thing would age "slower" than all things here on earth. This only works forward in time not allowing one to go back and forth in time because time is moving forward just at a slower rate here on earth because the different rates of speed of each entity.

time travle is obviously impossable because no one can attain a speed greater than the speed of light because as speed increases so does relitive mass thus you would be too large to gain any more energy. It may be nice for the losers and nerds of the world to think that they could come back and be cool but it's impossable, also, if it could occur, it could be tragic ie. the uncertainty priciple because you cannot observe without changing thus you might never be born and what would that do????
